· Treatment should always be based on accurate assessment and diagnosis.
· Investigation and Management should be carried out by appropriately trained highly skilled personnel.
· Management of pelvic floor problems must respect the needs, desires and wishes of the patient.
· Ensure that every patient has a full understanding of every aspect of their problem.
